Five years ago, thanks to Vic’s training program, his encouragement and belief in me, I ran my first half marathon at the age of 68.   I had not run since high school. 

I have since ran three more half marathons.  

 

Vic designed a program specifically for me based on my goals and what I wanted the outcome to be.  The training program focused on the total body, e.g. weight bearing  and leg strengthening exercises.  I still faithfully follow the regime today with a few tweaks suggested by Vic to keep challenging myself and to keep improving.  

 

An added bonus for me was an improvement in my bone density.  I was diagnosed with osteoporosis 14 years ago.  The training program was helped strengthen my bones density and I no longer need to have bone density tests.
